BEETROOT HALWA - USING MICROWAVE

Beetroot Halwa 

A delicious indian sweet , easier to prepare in microwave.


For this Halwa you need

2 cups of grated beetroot
2 cups of milk
1 cup of sugar
4 tsp. of ghee

For garnishing

6 nos. of chopped cashews and almonds

Preparation

Mix ghee with the grated beetroot in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 5 mins.

Add milk,sugar, mix them well and cook for 40 mins, stirring every 5 mins.(Cook until the milk evaporates).

Garnish them with chopped almonds and cashews...


Yummy delicious beetroot halwa is ready ....


Serve the dessert either hot or cold.
